Holkko is an artist who expresses herself through different mediums such as painting, printmaking and film photography. Different techniques evoke distinct emotions and outcomes. She often explores errors of human experiences, the emotions we as humans go through in life.

Holkko's visual language is dark and grotesque. She's been interested in such themes from a young age and it's still relevant in her art.
